Welcome to 8th Hard X-ray FEL Collaboration Meeting
The Hard X-ray FEL Collaboration Meeting series combine the institutions of PSI (SwissFEL), RIKEN (SACLA), SLAC (LCLS and LCLS II), DESY and Euro XFEL, and PAL (PAL-XFEL). This year’s host is Pohang Accelerator Laboratory (PAL), where PAL-XFEL is busy for their commissioning. It will take place from October 24 (Monday) to 26 (Wednesday), 2016 at newly built Science Building, PAL, Pohang, Korea. The meeting will be planned in 2.5 days by starting on Monday morning and finishing on Wednesday noon.
We are planning to make this meeting as a memorable event by hosting many of participants staying at newly built PAL guest house and having sessions at newly built Science Building. We will have a tour of PLS-II and PAL-XFEL, which are located within walking distances from the venue.
