News from Catania
Helene: remaining 4 federations (UKI, DECH, SEE, Russia) will join in COD-20 Helsinki. This changes a bit our plans, need for brainstorming on what are the consequences and how to make is safe.
- Prepare new 3 federations to start new model
Tiziana: what do we mean by regional knowledge base?
Marcin: any publicly available web pages like wiki etc. maintained by people in the region. Especially useful for 1st line support team who may solve problem without ticket being recorded.
Tiziana: Is CCOD technical or what are its duties?
Marcin: CCOD is a political body, a thin layer, responsible for contacting federations for making the problems moving forward. CCOD does not provide any technical support however they are responsible for solving organizational issues at a higher level.
Helene: there is some misunderstanding of CCOD handover, people don't know why they have to send 2 handovers. Vera: there's some problem with the tool.
Vera: worth to mention the currnet view of 1st line and ROD can be misleading, especially if a region decides to not do 1st line support - they will be bothered with some alarms etc. There is a ticket in savanah already.
Details of CCOD procedures to be discussed during COD-19 parallel session:
- how CCOD shall evolve when 7 and 11 federations will be on new model?
- CCOD handover clarification - Savannah ticket number TODO
- Training at COD-19
Vera: There will be training for joining federations at COD-19. Overview of dashboard by Cyfril and then small groups with Vera, Malgorzata, Kai and Cyril.
Please make sure new staff requested relevant roles in GOCDB so they can proceed with on-line exercises.
Please do register those coming to training at the general registration page by marking a checkbox.

Questions on the network connectivity and re-scheduling training in the agenda to be dealt offline by Tiziana, Helene and Vera.
- Model assessment
Assessment will be done based on feedback from 4 federations and 1st prototype of ROD metrics.
Marcin to provide template for feedback presentation by end of the week.
Helene: good starting point can be be "before and after" status
Helene: Something for quarterly report also. We can check if there are less tickets, less alarms. But turned out to be relatively the same activity -> will put into savannah ticket and dealt offline.
- Refine model
ROD metrics issues, display options to be presented and decided in parallel session -> Marcin to present to the audience
- Effective date of start new federations
Vera: Maybe April the 20th? This wil give 3 weeks of "getting familiar". But we shall be quick to get some experience before COD-20.
Diana: OK
Tiziana: delay will avoid clashing with power maintenance, ok.
Helene: OK for France.
Helene: Will the new 3 federations start acting as CCOD?
Marcin: Probably not from the very begining. Can join later if necessary. Will present options and decision can be taken on COD-19.
- ROD forum
Something to replace Pole1. How to start it - ideas to be gathered during COD-19.
- AOB
Helene: is there a material of experience to knowledge base topic to be presented via videoconference by ShuTing?
ShuTing: ok.
Helene: do we need presentation from GGUS? Other ideas to be sent to Helene by e-mail.
There are minutes attached to this event.
Show them.
