Aim: derive a comprehensive plan to execute the Linac4 to the PSB connection for 160 MeV operation. Review all details of the plan, disseminate information, and make sure nothing is forgotten or overlooked. Estimate how long is needed from the "go-ahead" signal to the first beam operation. List the associated risks.
In particular:
1. review the readiness of the Linac4-PSB connection for the full 160 MeV connection;
Covering:
o all accelerators/transfer line equipment (incl. electronics and controls)
o power/controls cables and electrical infrastructures
o cooling and ventilation
o building, civil engineering
o transport equipment
o access system / doors
o machine protection / interlock systems
o operation, controls/applications
o safety files, procedures (DSO tests…)
o Layout, drawings, database, documentations…
2. review the full connection planning and assess the risks;
Covering:
o essential preparation activities (cooldown, …);
o decommissioning and removal of old equipment (incl. storage conditions);
o infrastructure changes (de-cabling …) ;
o equipment installation, survey, controls ;
o individual system tests and HWC (incl. access conditions…);
o beam commissioning and operational ramp up;
o overall connection planning
o risks analysis
