Description

The tutorial will be given by Marco Zaro (LPTHE, Paris), together with Hua-Sheng Shao (CERN), Benoit Hespel, Antony Martini and Ioannis Tsinikos (CP3, Louvain)

This tutorial addresses experimental users and will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (26-28 July) from 9:30AM to 11:30AM. On Tuesday it will be in 40-S2-A01 (Salle Anderson), while on Wednesday and Thursday in 31-3-004 (IT Amphitheatre). On Thursday an extra hour (11:30-12:30) is scheduled for a tutorial on MadDM by Antony Martini.

In order to speed up the tutorial, all people attending are supposed to try to go through the tutorial "Part 0" on the machine which they will use BEFORE tuesday (it will just take a couple of minutes), in order to verify their configuration.

An installation session, meant to help those which have problems with the "Part 0", is foreseen on Monday afternoon (16:00-17:00) in room 40-R-C10. Because of the smallness of the room, only people having troubles with the "Part 0" are expected to come

  • use of event reweighing
  • merging and matching
