Become a Scientific Partner for the COLLIDE Artist 2016/2017

Europe/Zurich
Description

Become a scientific partner for the COLLIDE artists

ARTS AT CERN is welcoming the next COLLIDE artists this fall, for a three day induction. During that period, the artists will meet a number of scientists.  You can apply to be one of these scientific partners using the 'register' button below.

COLLIDE is CERN's major arts and science residency programme, now running for it's fifth year between CERN and international cultural partners.

Since 2011 the COLLIDE award sends out a call for artists to win a fully funded residency of up to 3 months at CERN. The main goal of this residency is to develop expert knowledge in the arts through a connection with fundamental science.

If you are interested in joining us, please make sure you are available during the induction sessions and during the period of the residencies, as follows: COLLIDE Geneva Artist (in the category of digital writing), Genevan Cassandre Poirier-Simon. Induction on September 27-29th 2016 at CERN. Residency: November 15th - February 2017 at CERN. COLLIDE International Artist (in the category of digital arts), South Korean Yunchul Kim, Induction on 2-4 November 2016, at CERN. Public Lecture 10 November at FACT (Foundation for Arts and Creative Technology), Liverpool. Residency: February-March 2017, at CERN.

Please see the pdf attached for more details, and apply by registering for this event. The deadline is 15 September 2016. Please note that one scientific partner will be selected for each artist.
