The Brazilian National Week of Science and Technology (SNCT) is a annual event organized by the Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovation and Communications (MCTIC) established in 2004. Its main goal is to promote public engagement with science and technology all over the country through a variety of scientific activities, stimulating curiosity, creativity and a critical viewing on the importance of science to society and the impact it produces in every citizen's life.
