All year 12 Physics students are invited to attend this exciting opportunity of a virtual tour of the CMS detector at CERN. This will link to the particle physics you have studied this term, allowing deeper understanding of the applications of physics. The virtual tour will be a live video feed to CERN, giving an audiovisual tour of the detector from a working scientist who will also answer any questions you have. There is a high chance we have the rare opportunity to see inside the detector as the beamline will be turned off. We look forward to seeing you all there.
