I discuss particular new physics models that decorrelate gluon-fusion induced double Higgs rates from single Higgs. Such models are necessarily vector-like fermions or the corresponding vector-like scalar theories, which avoid the chiral coupling intrinsic in single-Higgs production. In this talk, I will focus on new colored scalars and demonstrate how to maximize double Higgs production rates consistent with current direct searches for new colored particles and vacuum stability constraints.
