Description
I will describe a nonperturbative effective approach to QGP that can combine both perturbative and nonperturbative aspects of dynamics together in a consistent way, with the strongly coupled IR nonperturbative sector modeled by a holographically dual classical gravity and the UV degrees of freedom described by the glasma effective theory. I will emphasize that the full dynamics will have complex non-Markovian statistical features with initial condition dependence. The physics will be qualitatively different from doing weak and strong coupling calculations separately and then interpolating to an intermediate value of the coupling. I will discuss how we can include quantum fluctuations of the glasma also within the semiholographic approach and show that it will modify the standard hydrodynamic late time evolution to that of a flow of a specific type of a non-Newtonian fluid.
