"I'll discuss new physics related to the top quark, exploring how observables containing top quarks are a motivated way to search for physics beyond the standard model, and can help discriminate between different theories. Along the way, we will see that many unusual or unconventional top signatures are expected from physics beyond the SM, and unusual or nonstandard searches can be very helpful to extract the new physics from the backgrounds."
