Particle Physics Grid deployment and computing in the Czech RepublicAs an extension of the national Grid project METACentrum, run by CESNET, two Grid farms are to large extent dedicated to the particle physics applicatio ns. We will describe the hardware installed on both farms, how the farms are connected into the large Grid infrastructure (Grid projects LCG and EGEE) and provide an overview how the computing facility is shared between different projects, so that concurrent interoperability of all the installed software and infrastructure can be assured.Speaker: Mr Jiri Kosina (Institute of Physics)

Top Quark Mass Measurement at the CDF ExperimentWe present the most recent results for the measurement of the top quark mass at the CDF experiment of the Tevatron collider. Top mass measurement in the all hadronic channel in CDFWe summarize the reconstruction of the top mass in the all hadronic channel, where both W's decay into a qqbar pair, using the CDF detector at the Tevatron. The mass extraction is based on an event-by-event likelihood technique known as the Ideogram method. The analysis is performed on signal and background MC samples, showing its sensitivity to the top quark mass and its statistical performance.Speaker: Dr Nick van Remortel (University of Helsinki)

eV Seesaw with four GenerationsWe extend the eV seesaw scenario to four lepton generations. The LSND anomaly is taken as the right-handed seesaw scale, i.e. m_R ~ eV. The fourth generation then gives a heavy pseudo-Dirac neutrino which largely decouples from other generations, and is relatively stable. One effectively has a 3+3 solution to the LSND anomaly, where we illustrate with numerical solutions.
