Description
I will give an overview of the analysis methods that are used by the LHCb collaboration
to investigate (exotic) hadron states in the heavy-quark sector. Emphasis will be placed on
amplitude analysis techniques that are employed to extract parameters of the exotic hadrons,
using the recently discovered pentaquark and X -> JpsiPhi tetraquark candidates as examples.
