Description

Recent progress in the determination of the heavy meson spectrum from lattice QCD are reviewed with a focus on exotic states. I interpret the term "exotic" widely, using it to refer to hadrons with masses and/or properties not expected from calculations in simple potential models. Among these, I will highlight some recent calculations for XYZ charmonium-like states. Furthermore a lattice QCD calculation for the X(5568), claimed by the D0 collaboration but not seen by LHCb, is presented. The short review is concluded with an overview of recent lattice calculations regarding (explicitly exotic) double-heavy tetraquark states.
