Description
An overview of Grid activities in the South Eastern Europe will be given, covering the objectives, progress and main achievements of SEE-GRID series of projects, which is currently in its third two-year phase under the name SEE-GRID-SCI. Evolution of the regional SEE Grid infrastructure will be presented, as well as various applications developed and user communities supported by the project.
Special emphasis will be given to the establishment and development of National Grid Initiatives in the region and plans towards full integration into the EGI era.
