** DPM project

CERN has 2 FTE dedicated to DPM, no change foreseen this year.

Focus of this year will be supporting sites in enabling Dome.

No objections raised.

** DPM deployment strategy 2017

* Enabling Dome

CERN requested volunteers to work with them on enabling Dome.

Andrea - GRIF and LAPP can help here.

Alessandra - concerns about how to disable Dome if things don't go well. We will add this to the docs (https://its.cern.ch/jira/browse/LCGDM-2372).

Alessandra - Napoli volunteers for Dome adoption.

Sam - Glasgow volunteers

* DPM caching operation

Caching - maybe after the summer (Michel)

Alessandra - INFN is interested, project foreseen but project has terminated so no progress at the moment.

* Multi-site DPM

UK are interested in exploring the multi-site DPM. Will test with a Glasgow/Edinburgh/Durham setup.

** DPM Workshop 2017

Those present would like a DPM workshop in 2017. CERN requested volunteers but stated they could host the meeting if preferred.

Tomoaki asked about timescales for support of legacy stack. It will be supported throughout run 2, no announcement has been made about deprecation yet. The team will try to give as much notice as possible.

Oliver reported a recent issue with Globus GridFTP which meant that redirection was broken when used with IPv6. The advice is not to enable redirection until a fix has been produced (this will be a patched Globus GridFTP server).
