Fortnightly meeting for technical topics looking further ahead than the weekly ops meetings on Tuesdays. There are also dedicated storage group meeting on Wednesdays. Each topic can go beyond the nominal 5 minute slot whenever necessary.

Notes from Technical Meeting 

 

VAC + ATLAS

ATLAS have RAL Azure running in vcycle mode. Running event service jobs at RAL and QMUL.

Discussion: VAC now has multi-core options and ATLAS are looking into this.

 

CMS 

Nothing to report 

 

LHCb

Nothing to report.

 

GridPP DIRAC

Working - and MICE have run a test job. DUNE are running test jobs with various configurations. DUNE have some non-standard certificates which is causing issues.

 

Storage 

Things are progressing on the caching front... things to look at but things are currently "in progress" rather than ready to report. Also looking at LIGO data being served data-cvmfs.

Will prepare for a meet on the future of certificates
