    Attendees: Danilo, Brian, Enrico, Guilherme, Philippe, Zhe

    Brian: End of the semester, getting back in the swing of things, in particular preparing for ACAT.

    Zhe:  Writing paper at the moment.  Will work on parallel decompression for next week.

    Philippe: ROOT I/O workshop.

    Zhe: I might be able to report on TBB parallel unzipping, at the moment still very slow (7 times slower than the thread version).

    Brian: Goal for ROOT I/O workshop is to have demo of TTree::Draw with bulk I/O API.

    Danilo: I think we will do a general one on TDataFrame (focusing on I/O) and presenting the interface.   And another one on the parallel write from different thread in a single file.

    Danilo: Should we ask for more specific focus for the experiment report.  I.e. make it more topical.

    Brian: The topic I would be interested is to report on Analysis …. There is two crowds the framework and the analysis …

    Philippe: Probably should have a lesson learned talk from the EcoSystem workshop.

    Danilo: We should also present the latest updates (work from Enric+Brian+etc..)

    Danilo: How to solve the issue with the parallel merger.

    Danlio/Philippe/Guilherme: debugging issues with thread merger.

    Philippe: Working on understanding why a new library is changing the order of creation of StreamerInfo.

    Philippe: Next meeting on the 19th.
