Beam-beam effects in the detector region at 380 GeV and 3 TeV simulated with Guinea-Pig and DD4hep 45m

      Abstract:
"Unwanted particles created during the beam-beam interactions may cause high backgrounds in the detectors close to the interaction point and in the forward region. This presentation covers all types of background particles' types created with Guinea-Pig software and then embedded in the CLICdet model simulation using DD4hep. The implications to the detector's design and luminosity spectra at both 380 GeV and 3 TeV are presented."
