Description

    • 1
      Security and Trust session
      Speaker: David Crooks
    • 2
      Medium term evolution - Compute
      Speaker: Gavin McCance (CERN)

      • Would quite like to add a bit of the "mid-SLA" stuff in there - maybe it would fit with a few slides in Maarten's talk? The aim is to spark a discussion on why we're probably going to have to live with pre-emption in the future for our physics workloads (imho)

      • I wonder if we might take the Singularity intro, RAL container site experience, container security talk + discussion and make a distinct session out of it, chaired by David and myself?
      • I'm hoping to use this discussion as a launch-off for the Container WG since its a good opportunity to extract the experience and concerns of the sites
    • 3
      Network session
Speakers: Shawn Mc Kee (University of Michigan (US)), Tony Cass (CERN)
    • 4
      Operations

    • 5
      Monitoring
      Speaker: Alberto Aimar (CERN)

       ------------

      - Status, plans, demo of WLCG Monitoring (esp. migration of dashboards)    -  25'

       - ElasticSearch at CERN (I have been asked about it) - 10'

       - Plans of Experiments  regarding ES and MONIT (separate talks, or a single overview? If so by whom? ) - 15'

       - Q and A - 10'

      -----------

Discussed with ES and Experiments for their contributions.

    • 6
      Benchmarking
      Speaker: Domenico Giordano (CERN)

Andrew presented the CPU Unit concept at the MB. There is not need to present again the concept during the workshop.

      • this means that there is 1/2 hour free, not necessary needed for the benchmarking discussion (that is already 90' long)
    • 7
      IS evolution
      Speaker: Julia Andreeva (CERN)
    • 8
      Medium term evolution - Data
      Speaker: Oliver Keeble (CERN)
    • 9
      Efficency and cost
      Speaker: Markus Schulz (CERN)
