Update of the MySQL db: request to update lbcertif has been done to dbod https://cern.service-now.com/service-portal/view-request.do?n=RQF0787046

Vobox root login: still not clear why Federico can login as root. To be added to the list: Zoltan, Philippe, Federico.

 

LHCbDIRAC installation: Status of servers, DBs, build machines…

runsv on system: (https://github.com/DIRACGrid/DIRAC/issues/3393) No progress yet. Joel should try to modify the externals

dirac.cfg and bashrc in puppet: (https://its.cern.ch/jira/browse/LHCBDIRAC-696) This is now high priority and expected for next week. There should also be an entry in the DIRAC wiki. Update will be on the ticket.

Update of MySQL password (https://its.cern.ch/jira/browse/LHCBDIRAC-669): Agreed on the procedure. Will be done as soon as the dirac.cfg is deployed via puppet

Backup of the CS: (https://its.cern.ch/jira/browse/LHCBDIRAC-742) it was decided to backup the master CS as well as the BOINC CS on EOS. Details in the ticket. Joel to take care, since he did it for the bild machines

ActiveMQ setup: discussion with IT (https://cern.service-now.com/service-portal/view-request.do?n=RQF0782668) lead us to understand that there will be no proxy authentication for ActiveMQ. We need to consider alternative approaches, and what are the consequences for it. Details will be discussed in a ticket.

Reminder: CS cleaning

Currently in production: LHCbDIRAC v8r8p3. There is a discrepancy between LHCbGrid and LcgBundle:

• LHCbGRID v11r11 contains xroot 4.5.0 except for gcc 4.8 (xroot 3.3.6). The current bundle containst xroot4.3

LHCbDIRAC v8r9: 

• New bundle and LHCbGRID with gfal2 2.13.3 new fts3 and xrootd 4.5.0. Ideally 4.7.0 if it is out.
• It was decided to align the name of the LcgBundle with the LHCbGrid version: v12r2.
• v8r9, based on DIRAC v6r18 will use the new Externals with bumped versions (https://github.com/DIRACGrid/Externals/pull/27)
• The certification will start today. There will be a hotfix to use the logging version of Alexandre.
• As of v8r9, it was decided not to deploy LHCbDIRAC on AFS anymore. Announce it to the users.
