Update on ECal (Anna)
* Freezing the barrel geometry: 50 degrees inclination angle, 1408 planes
* Endcaps
- Geometry in the official SW
- Correction constants calculated
- Energy resolution with 7% sampling term and 0 constant term (perfect planes, no inclination)
* Forward calorimeters
- Geometry ready, will be pushed to the official SW soon
- Running last tests
Reconstruction of photons from pi0 decay (Hamad, summer student)
* Tests with 10x higher eta-segmentation (0.001) than is the default
* 10 GeV pions -> in about ~40% of events we reconstruct 2 clusters, 1 cluster in most of the events
* 25 GeV pions -> we are not able to reconstruct 2 clusters, only in few events
* Martin: in ATLAS we use information from the 1st layer where we try to search for 2 maximums
