CERNBox provides a cloud synchronisation service for all CERN users between personal devices (like a laptop or mobile phones) and a centrally-managed data storage.
In this workshop we will present the service, its main features and how it works behind the scenes.
It will follow an hands-on session to further improve the understanding of the system having fun with synchronization clients, Jupyter notebooks, docker containers and other interesting technologies.
The attendees will need their laptop to profitably take part in the hands-on part of the workshop.
