Description
To join the call, do one of the following:
    • 16:00 → 16:20
Experiment input on VO-specific services 20m
      Paper
    • 16:20 → 16:40
Update on Proposal Writing Plans 20m
      • 1.2.1.2: Activity SA4: Services for Communities of Heavy Grid Users 15m
The Communities identified as Heavy Users Communities (HUCs) are
        • High Energy Physics (HEP)
        • Life Sciences (LS)
        • Astronomy and Astrophysics (AA)
        • Computational Chemistry and Material Sciences (CCMT)
        • Earth Sciences (ES)

The tasks currently foreseen in the SA draft are as follows (all prefixed by TSA4., e.g. TSA4.1 for management):

        1. Management
        2. Hosting of Community Specific Services
        3. Hosting of VO Specific Services
        4. Support of Frameworks
        5. Support of Scientific Gateways
        6. Support for interoperability within SA4 services
        7. Support for transition to SA4 services

The WLCG activities & effort (total) foreseen are:

        1. operations & user support liaison - 1 (TSA4.1? TSA4.7?)
        2. middleware liaison - 1 (TSA4.6?) Front-line m/w (service) support & m/w maintenance and development also required.
        3. services for heavy users i.e. FTS - 6 (TSA4.2?)
        4. additional VO-specific services - 10 (TSA4.3?)
        5. Dashboard, Ganga, Diane, AMGA - 4 + 2 + 1 + 1 (TSA4.4?) Not just for "heavy" users - should this move to the SSC? (Or separate specific / generic requirements?)
We should check for overlap between these and other "tasks" proposed by other communities and match them to the proposed task list - is it complete?
