Models with a confining hidden sector are an attractive option for explaining the properties of dark matter. They can also produce interesting collider phenomenology, for example giving rise to "emerging jets", due to showering and hadronisation that occurs in the dark sector, before decay of dark mesons to Standard Model particles over macroscopic decay lengths.
In this talk I will discuss the flavour structure for a model of a confining dark sector coupling to down-type quarks through a heavy scalar mediator. The interplay between flavour constraints and collider signatures qualitatively affects how such a model might show up at the LHC, and at fixed target experiments.
