Attended:

Gorka, Florentia, Laurence, Dimitrios,Andrew, Adrian, Steve, John, Eddi, Alessandra, Alessandro,  Salvatore, Julia

Discussion after Steve's presentation:

Julia thinks that this development is very useful. There is a comparison between APEL and experiment internal accounting, but numbers there can not be 100% consistent because of pilot overhead. Having tools to compare internal accounting with APEL would allow to confirm correctness of APEL data. Alessandra agreed that this is very useful.

Julia asked how much effort is required before the tools can be offered to other sites.  Steve answered taht couple more weeks would be required to polish the code and to improve documentation. Julia suggested that when Steve thinks the tools are ready for others sites to try, we will look for volunteers.

Discussion after Dimitrios' presentation:

Alessandro mentioned that architecture is good in the sense that it supports various methods of providing accounting numbers

Julia added that there is an agreement with Andrew to get from Dirac description of the LHCb storage topology which will include all sites and SRM space tokens and will be used by Storage Space Accounting prototype which currently contains only ATLAS data.

Discussion after Florentia's presentation:

John reminded CERN that if they make back-dated changes to their accounting then they need to republish whole month summaries to APEL.

Florentia asked about possible ways to validate correctness of the accounting data. Julia mentioned thata there are two ways : to use CPU accounting validation setup by Dimitrios and to compare with ATLAS and CMS job accounting Dashboards. Julia will send instructions.

Alessandro suggested to do detailed validation for couple of days, job by job.

Most probably there will be another meeting before the end of the year. Julia will send an announcement.
