Fortnightly meeting for technical topics looking further ahead than the weekly ops meetings on Tuesdays. There are also dedicated storage group meeting on Wednesdays. Each topic can go beyond the nominal 5 minute slot whenever necessary.
The plan is to have something basic in place before Christmas and gain experience rather than designing something all singing all dancing at the beginning that people may not use. For structure see the talk.
Manchester has been running LHCb VMs to backfill behind Atlas multicore jobs
Singularity and Atlas: Alessandra has managed to get singularity working on very different systems at Manchester and Glasgow and is looking for other site to try this (Imperial fits).
There has been work on Atlas and xrootd cache especially at Lancaster ECDF. There has been discussion with Chris Brew because of his CMS experience.
There is a security operations centre meeting this afternoon and there is preparation for the December.
There will be discussions at the pre-GDB about authorisation next week and how it evolves in the next years. There seems to be a consensus see:
