12:30 → 13:00 Discussion of R&D grant requests

An initial equipment R&D grant request is going out to CFI (Canada Foundation for Innovation, due Oct. 15) and we will shortly be submitting to DARPA as well. The intention is to design and construct a ground test platform for the optics over the next 2-3 years. Note that the DARPA grant will require a PI at a U.S. institution. We should discuss the terms of the requests.
