Challenge Based Innovation (CBI) is a project course, where multidisciplinary student teams and their instructors collaborate with researchers at CERN to discover novel solutions for the future of humankind. The projects are an elaborate mixture, where societal, human-driven needs meet research at CERN.

In this CBI student cohort for Autumn 2017, student teams from ESADE Business School, Istituto Europeo Design (IED) and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) have explored, prototyped and tested ideas connecting UN Sustainable Development Goals and CERN Knowledge and/or Technology.

1 Optional: Guided Tour

Guided tour of Atlas visitor centre and Synchrocyclotron. Limited number of places available. Meet at 11h45 in CERN Reception (building 33).

3 Optional: Visit public CERN exhibitions

CERN exhibitions open to public are open to visit during the whole day, from 10h00 to 17h00; in Globe of Science and Innovation (building 80) and Microcosm (in Reception building 33).
