Description

Discover Poppy Ergo Jr, a robotics platform to teach children about process control even before they can read.

The Poppy platform is a product of the INRIA Flowers Lab robotics team, and was released to the public domain.

Poppy Ergo ships with :

  • A learn-by-example programming platform to teach computational thinking
  • A block-based user interface to learn algorithmics and have fun along the way
  • A Jupyter Notebook interface to learn python programming and combine it with advanced Python APIs (e.g. OpenCV)
  • Integration with V-REP : a professional simulation environment used by roboticists in their daily work.
