Description
The technical and organizational requirements for n-TOF, a neutron spallation
source, are given with the aim of ensuring its safe operation with minimal
radiological impact on personnel and the environment.
The presentation focuses on the target and target area, but an outlook on a
future experimental area is given.
The steps achieved and those to be accomplished are listed, with an estimation
of the resources required for radiation protection.
