Description
The presentation will introduce the ISOLDE facility and
its overall organization:
ISOLDE CERN groups, users, the ISOLDE collaboration,
the main committees and the program advisory
committee. The requirements and requests from the
point of view of the ISOLDE users will be discussed.
The main aspects will deal with:
a) Physics and experiments: scale, physics needs,
targets and beams, proton
sequence, proton intensity.
b) Schedule and operation: integration of requests in
the schedule, efficiency,
constraints, GPS/HRS alternation.
c) Analysis of 2006 and possible improvements:
maintenance, technical
integration, experiment and user support.
