Description
Non-linear symmetries for scalars play an important role in many fields of physics, including high-energy physics and cosmology. In this blackboard presentation, we will provide a pedagogical review of the scalar case, and then turn towards the fermion and the vector: can one realize similar non-linear symmetries on these fields? In the vector case, we will investigate this question from a number of perspectives, including algebra classifications, gauge symmetries and generalized geometry.
