We will review the October league tables, and discuss the list of candidate sites for suspension

10:50 → 11:00 HEPSPEC06 benchmark

Dear all,

After the negative from Hepix to change the HEPSPEC06 name to something HEP neutral, and after the discussion at this week’s SA1 coordination meeting, this is the summary of where we are:
- SI200 is obsolete since February 2007, http://www.spec.org/cpu2000/
- HEPSPEC06 is based on the most recent version of this, http://www.spec.org/benchmarks.html
- Building our own universal infrastructure benchmark is not feasible

Taking all this into account, the proposal is to choose HEPSPEC06 as the infrastructure benchmark and to work out a reasonable timeline for all sites to start publishing it.

I would like to know the explicit response of each ROC to this before next SA1 coordination meeting, so please, answer to this mail with agreement or disagreement (and alternative in the second case).
