Description

In recent years a renewed interest in searching for beyond the Standard Model signatures of long lived particles (LLPs) in LHC collisions has produced various proposals for extending the reach of the ATLAS, CMS and LHCb searches with other detectors specifically designed to look for LLPs produced in proton-proton collisions. In particular, I will present two of these proposals, Codex-b and AL3X, to be situated underground in the LHC-b and ALICE caverns respectively.
