Description

The Wall

Eric, a 16-year-old young man, flees genocide in Rwanda... After seeking refuge in a tree for two long weeks, he returns to his home to discover that 70 people in his family have been killed; a lonely teenager, having endured this traumatic experience, finds himself facing the reality of his new life and the huge responsibility of taking care of his younger brothers.

Today, Eric, an internationally recognized speaker and author of “My Father the Maker of the Trees” shares his journey from hell to reconciliation. He explains his experiences, his victories over hatred, resentment and the choices he made as well as his country’s determination to walk the path of forgiveness and reconciliation, which certainly resonates with all generations. He tells how he did not allow this pain to destroy him and how, today, he has become a man, both fulfilled on a personal and professional level, with great inner wealth to share.

The conference will be followed by a photo exhibition and light refreshments
