Description

Abstract

Development of the unique NbTi/Nb/Cu multilayer-sheet, composite, material is introduced.

It describes its various feature and characteristics in the mechanical structure, fabricating methods, current density (Jc) in high magnetic field, superconducting magnetic shielding performance, and others.

Note: An interesting application for the unique beam-extraction septum magnet (SUSHI) is being investigated as a part of the Future Circular Collider (FCC) study.
