EPICS Bus
The organized bus transportation between Aix and the ITER site will be provided by a local company called SUMIAN. In addition to that company name, "our" buses will carry a paper sign "EPICS MEETING 3-7 June 2019" in the front window.
In Aix, two bus stops will be served:
- Archives, close to 150 Avenue Georges Pompidou, southbound
(closer to hotels Le Galice, Kyriad) - Roi René, close to 20 Boulevard du Roi René
(closer to hotels Saint Christophe, Odalys L'Atrium)
Departure time, every morning, will be 07.30 h at Archives and 07.40 h at Roi René.
Please be there on time, the buses will not wait.
For the return trip, the buses will depart from the ITER parking lot outside the main gate.
- Monday and Tuesday at 17.40 h
- Wednesday at 18.10 h (to Dinner restaurant, then Aix)
Shuttle from Dinner restaurant to Aix at21.45 h and 22.15 h... 23.15 h - Thursday at 17.30 h
- Friday at 17.10 h
Again, these are the departure times, please be there a few minutes earlier.
Public Bus
The public bus line 150 (timetable) connects the Aix bus station to ITER.
Single fare is 1.20€, two trips are 2.20€; tickets can be bought from the bus driver (cash only).
