The First International Particle Accelerator Conference, IPAC'10, will be held in Kyoto, Japan, from 23 to 28 May 2010. In 2007 the Americas, Europe, and Asia agreed to merge the three regional particle accelerator conferences, namely, PAC in North America, EPAC in Europe, and APAC in Asia into one, and create a new series of particle accelerator conferences, IPAC, from 2010. This is a great milestone for the world accelerator community and it reflects the maturity of international collaboration in the accelerator field.
