    Chris presented a summary of how the smearing functions are currently defined in the case of CDF, for the smearing of the electron energy and recoil. Instructions and parameters are uploaded here: https://gitlab.cern.ch/lhcewkwg/lhcewkwg-precisionEW/mwcombinations/blob/master/SmearingFunctions/CDF/smearing.txt  

    Using these parameterisations, Chris observes a MET distribution slightly shifted with more events on the low side. More refined parameterisations will follow later. Chris also provided the pTl and mT distributions as observed in the CDF data. Nansi compared these distributions to the ones currently used in ATLAS to emulate CDF parameterisations (by eye) and the distributions look shifted. To be checked with the parameterisations from Chris and also with MC distributions (data include background).
