Dear Students,

We warmly invite you to register to your upcoming CERN visit.

Please proceed as follows in order to obtain a temporary access badge:

  1. Register and indicate your first name, last name, email address, birth date, country of birth and place of birth.

  2. We have to approve your request in order for you to receive a confirmation email that will allow you to download and print your temporary access card.

  3. Please print and bring this card with you in order to enter the CERN site.

We recommend you to download the app MapCERN prior to your arrival which will help you to find your way.

The Hostel Reception is located in building 39. Please enter the site via the CERN Reception or Entrance B (for more info refer to the enclosed document).

We remind you that important safety instructions are applicable to all CERN Guided Tours. Failure to respect any of these instructions may lead to your guided tour being cancelled! Please read them carefully and share them with all visitors:

Safety information for the visitors: closed, flat or block-heeled shoes are required for the site visits (duckboard) and helmets will be provided; Access to underground areas is limited for pregnant women and for persons equipped with any of the following: pacemaker, defibrillator, electronic medicine dispenser, hearing aid, metal implant.
