Description
Nuclear technology is a new era for Turkey. The first nuclear power plant in Turkey will be constructed at Akkuyu, in Mersin Province. It is planned to start operating in 2023. It is also planned to construct additional nuclear power plants in Sinop and İğeada in the near future. Monitoring these nuclear reactors must be one the highest priority issue for nuclear safety in Turkey. In this presentation, different detector designs and simulation results for nuclear reactor monitoring
using antineutrino flux measurement will be discussed.
