Gas systems available : Monday afternoon
Irradiator testing : Tuesday morning (see comments in Infrastructure section)

Wednesday Installation :

ALICE arrived with 8 chambers, 2 in irradiation, 6 in corridor.
sTGC with one test chamber - 1 month test, running
CMS-RPC trolly 1&3
EP-DT2

LHCb + CMS-CSC small prototype - IMPACT missing
CMS-GEM 1&2
EP-DT1
CMS-CSC
ATLAS-RPC - 2 setups, IMPACT missing
CMS-DT MB1&2
CMS-CSC + LHCb  (IMPACT for LHCb missing)

Pb blocks stored on the outside.

 

ALICE : 9h measurement  - factor 1 for 1h
10h access for 1h to swap chambers.

otherwise 2.2 in upstream field

 

Filter Scans :

Upstream : 6.9  for 2-3h, starting after the meeting
                   100 for 4-6h  in the afternoon

Downstream : nothing announced.

1h requested by EP-DT Friday ->10:00 in combination with ALICE

 

09:25 → 09:40 Mass Production Test Schedule

Upstream field :

ATLAS-MM :   LM2  out   - comes back next year Jan/Feb.
                          Starting from 23 January  (latest 30.1),  2 chambers returning. In upstream area  U1
                          5 filters 50->1 (= one morning).
 

ALICE TPC : 6 chambers, (3 big, 3 small)  - 2 at the same time, swap takes 45 minutes.
                moving to test 2 big chambers in parallel
               test restarted (unshadowed)
               Total 20-30 (aiming for 6 per week,  1 day flushing, few hours for testing)  - 5 weeks

Downstream :

CMS-DT  1/15 campaign until January.

ATLAS - sTGC :  5-6 chambers should arrive beginning of mid January - half an hour for each chamber

          (might be better compatible with upstream)

          In addition : 1 chamber currently flushed in the preparation area, to be moved into the upstream area next week. (to be confirmed on Monday)

     
ATLAS-sTGC: downstream,  starting next week, half a day full field
                         swap to be synchronised with ALICE                  

 

ATLAS-RPC : two gas gap chamber arrived, to stay for January.

ALICE - FE Electronic upgrade. To be defined.

EcoRPC-Gas chambers to be tested with new mixture for RPCs.
- Discussion about installation ongoing.
 

Test of sealing material / EN-CV for HL-LHC.
One copper piece with pipes connected, expected to receive 10Gy, to be tested for 100Gy.

VISIT tour !  Next Wednesday 15h-17h as part of the BTTB7 conference.

Bunker extension :
==============

Bunker layout frozen,  final shape of roof will depend on available blocks.
Schedule floating, depending on availability of EN services.
Currently estimated start : Early July.
 

Ongoing Projects :
=============

Correction of Irradiator Signals after power cut.
Since installation of UPS, the Irradiator signals UNSAFE after a power cut, independently if the source was ON or OFF at the time. In reality, source will always be in safe position after power cut. Power cycle controls in control room to get correct status.

 

PyTIMBER :

    Additional values need to be collected/republished ?
        - REMUS  - to be included in GIF Display
        - XTDV - to be included in pytimber only
