1) ASP2010-18 Student Alumni Survey
Julia presented the results of the latest survey of all the ASP alumni from 2010-2018. The last such survey was done in 2014 for ASP2010-12 alumni. There are 320 alumni of which 1/3 responded to the survey. We discussed that we should find a way to
- improve the response rate in the future surveys;
- replace late selected student declinations in participating in an ASP;
- capture the student data (Skype id, permanent emails or telephone) at the beginning of the school so when a student’s email is no longer working, we have a way to get in touch with him/her. Indeed it was noted that there are a few students whose emails are no longer working and we have no other way to reach out to them.
We also discuss that we should come up with some standard definition of the majors of the students in terms of their area of research work.
In order to improve the impact of ASP on the professional opportunities of the alumni, we suggest to make use of the ASP mentorship program.
2) The Site Visit to Morocco
We should get the detailed itinerary from the LOC so that other visits such as to the French Embassy in Rabat (Steve) could be planned successfully in advance.
3) Budget
We reviewed the current situation of the budget and encourage IOC members to use the ASP2020 proposal (if necessary) to seek funding.
4) AOB
a. Migration of ASP data from SVN to Git. At the moment, Anne, Steve and Ketevi have access to the GitLab repository

We should investigate the Git access rights of Christine and Bobby
b. Mentorship Program: not discussed due to time limitation.
Next IOC Meeting on Feb 27 but it would be desirable to meet again with the LOC first, in particular about item 2) above. Because of this, we may have to meet exceptionally on a different Wednesday other than Feb 27. Ketevi to send suggestions.
