Description
Ed Larson is a historian of science, not a physicist or theologian, and his lecture is an historical romp through how modern physics has impacted theistic and atheistic thinking and how such thinking has impact modern physics.  With glances back at classical physics, the focus will be on 20th century developments in physics, particularly relativity and quantum indeterminacy, holism, and complementarity.  Larson has written extensively on this topic, including his 2017 Yale University Press book, On Faith and Science.
