Description

The LUX-ZEPLIN (LZ) detector will begin its science run in 2020.  The search for WIMPs with this liquid xenon time projection chamber will be put in the broader context of other direct dark matter searches, and efforts by the LZ collaboration to ensure the reaching of our sensitivity goals will be discussed. We will then survey the sensitivity reach of LZ, and start thinking about what WIMP searches to do after that.
