Description

Higgs measurements in the off-shell kinematic regime provide an opportunity to study the behavior of the Higgs boson at high energies and can be used to probe its width and couplings. Using events in this regime, CMS has recently placed constraints on the Higgs width of 3.2^{+2.8}_{-2.2} MeV while considering the impact of anomalous HVV couplings, and ATLAS has made a differential measurement of the off-shell line shape. We will give a brief overview of the off-shell methods to determine the Higgs width and discuss some of the assumptions that go into these methods, and we will then present the latest results from the CMS and ATLAS analyses.
