Description

Twitter’s favorite cosmologist Katie Mack has seen it all—celebrities feuding with flat earthers, condescending climate-change deniers, and a constant barrage of "independent theorists." While navigating these stormy online waters she has figured out what works—and what doesn’t—when interacting with people online. In this talk, @AstroKatie will provide insight into how to communicate about physics in an online world filled with trolls, conspiracy theorists, hostile pundits, and genuinely confused people who don’t know what to believe.
