Meeting 7
Key Insights
- one bijective server-link mapping per experiment,
but all FTS instances report to one monitoring instance
- format of monitoring information is the same for each experiment and after aggregation,
so using this as a starting point is generic enough
- no directly available information on name-prefix mapping
- transfers already known 3 weeks in advance (on average)
Next steps
Mario:
- send information on Rucio
- send article
Andrea:
- meeting to understand ElasticSearch querying to get FTS information
Edoardo:
- organize contact with Stefan for software development standards, and CT for code reusage for the website
Coralie:
- use combined FTS information (through ElasticSearch) and Rucio information,
and find out mapping between DNS names and IP prefixes,
to build a transfer broker, according to the software guidelines provided by Stefan
-> display results on a website
- send link to FAST conference: [1]
