Description

Our colleague Bas has kindly accepted to come and talk to us about User Experience and Design Thinking, as part of the work he’s doing in the FAP-AIS group:

The development process of software is often more expensive and time consuming than foreseen. One of the reasons for this is, that the first version of functionalities and interfaces isn’t fully aligned with the client’s and user’s expectations. Conceptual changes might be needed after deployment and many support tickets need to be solved. What can be done to better understand the user and his objectives such that systems are designed based on what would be really used instead of what is decided in meeting rooms?
