I'll give a brief overview of cosmological structure formation in the Lagrangian framework of fluid mechanics, including both perturbative dynamics and galaxy bias, before describing how this framework can be used both to understand the reconstruction of baryonic acoustic oscillations (old hat) or combined with n-body simulations to yield a simple but competitive emulator for galaxy power spectra (new hat).
